Why go
For a cove that takes a little effort: granite boulders, a short stretch of sand, and none of the big beaches' loungers.
What you will find
A cove of about 300 m between granite boulders, just south of Surin. According to one guide, there is a restaurant that takes cash, but no toilets and no loungers, and the snorkelling is best at the southern end.
Getting there
The stairs down from the road have been closed since 2017 over a land dispute. The way in now, according to a guide updated in October 2026, is a 15 to 20 minute path over rocks from the southern end of Surin, starting with a scramble, or a small boat from Surin, about 100 baht one way.
Before you go
The seabed drops quickly, there are submerged rocks and there are no lifeguards. Not a beach for small children.
In the monsoon the boat may not run, and the rocks are no place to be in big waves.
